The Times of India aptly titled its obituary of Mr. Tata, "India Loses Its Ratan." His passing is not just a loss for Indians at home but for those across the world. Though he never received the Bharat Ratna, for many, he had long been Bharat Ratan. Legacies hold immense power. To be remembered as a ‘ratan’ is itself a legacy. R.D. Burman is still celebrated for his contributions to music, as are Kishore Kumar, Einstein, Chaplin, and countless others. These are luminaries who left behind legacies that legions of their fans are emulating several years after their passing. The question is: what legacy do you wish to leave behind? In my Personal Energy Management (PEM) workshops, I conduct a transformative segment where participants are asked to write their own obituary. "How would you like to be remembered after you’re gone?" It’s an exercise that often catches people off guard—it’s not easy to contemplate one’s own death. Many struggle with it, but those who embrace it often find it liberating. I recall one young woman at a session who was unsure about her career path. After doing this exercise, she had an epiphany: she wanted to open a centre for the hearing impaired and be known for her contributions to that cause. It was her aha moment—a revelation brought on by reflecting on her legacy. Aligning your life’s path with a clear mission and purpose is a powerful thought. Once you have that clarity, the journey toward fulfilling it becomes so much easier. Try it yourself. 😊 #ratantata #legacy #lifepath #purpose

In the bustling streets of India, where ambition and duty collide, lies an untold story of silent perseverance. It's the narrative of our sons, brothers, and fathers - the men who shoulder an invisible burden from a tender age. A burden that whispers of unwavering responsibility, of expectations to uphold, and dreams often set aside. As a society, we've woven a tapestry that sometimes forgets the weight carried on these young shoulders. The weight of being the 'provider', the 'pillar', the 'protector'. It's a mantle passed down through generations, often without question, and it shapes the very essence of their being. From dawn till dusk, their lives become synonymous with work - a relentless pursuit to fulfill roles etched deep in cultural stones. Yet, amidst this ceaseless toil, where is the space for their aspirations? For moments of joy and leisure? For the freedom to falter and rise without judgment? It's time we pause and reflect on this narrative. Time we acknowledge the silent sacrifices and offer support that goes beyond financial needs. Let's create a dialogue that encourages balance, nurtures mental well-being, and celebrates small victories. Because every man deserves more than just a lifetime of work; they deserve a lifetime rich with purpose, passion, and personal growth. #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealth #SocietalPressure #MenInIndia

Today I can't help but think about how our nation's journey mirrors the path of personal growth. Just like India broke free from colonial rule, we all have the power to break free from old habits and outdated self-images. Today, let's celebrate not just our country's freedom, but also our freedom to reinvent ourselves. Whether it's updating your wardrobe, improving your body language, or boosting your confidence, every small step counts. Remember, true independence starts from within. It's about feeling comfortable in your own skin and projecting your best self to the world. As we honor our nation's progress, let's also commit to our personal growth. Why not use this day as a chance to start fresh? Try a new look, practice a power pose, or simply smile more. These small changes can make a big difference in how you feel and how others see you. Here's to a free India and to free, confident individuals! Let's make our nation proud by being the best versions of ourselves. #independenceday #growth #imagecoach

In the Loving Memory Of India's Pride, Last night, India mourned the profound loss of its hero, Sir Ratan Tata, a visionary leader whose impact transcended the business world. This is why I feel most Indians are geared for success. Life stands on four pillars 1. Health 2. Wealth 3. Family 4. Love If all of them are doing well there is a good probability that one would live a happy and a successful life. If all of them are broke it’s a rare scenario that someone would from there go on to excel. Although most fun and great stuff happens when one or two of them need building, solving for that results in strong headed individuals. Individuals who are okay falling, picking themselves back up and then keep going. These folks have a higher probability of being able to lead a great life because they have faced the adversities and are ready to do what it takes to get out of them. Almost all of Indians fall in this category, and hence I feel there is a strong chance that we will see a wave of individuals building a sustainable satisfying life for themselves. Would love to know what you guys think #life #growthmindset #india #foodforthought
