These are MASSIVE stats... So glad Modern Health is in a position to partner with our customers on this front. Two thoughts come to mind for me and I'm curious to hear from fellow coworkers and my network on this... #1: Employers need to see their employees as "people" first. When you invest in your people with benefits like Modern Health, you empower individuals and their families to be the best possible versions of themselves. Better yet, you provide your employees access to leverage a remarkable resource for self-improvement and self-discovery... THIS SHOULD transcend any salary, commission check, or equity. How friggin incredible benefits like this exist?? AND OBVIOUSLY it is a whole other ballgame building and maintaining solid, reoccurring utilization over time with said resources (Thought 2 incoming...) #2 The brute fact is that people need to come to the realization on their own if it is appropriate timing to invest in their mental health and wellness. "You can lead a horse to water but can't make 'em drink it," right? This will always be the challenge any employer or internal people team faces. Even upgrading to a more modern mental health solution, doesn't always guarantee out-of-this world results from a utilization standpoint. As in life, it is in benefits: there's only so much you can control and do. People will register and engage simply when they're ready to. Despite efforts to prod and nudge for the sake of strong utilization, you can't always "make the horse drink." So what do we do? We must keep prodding and nudging, but strategically and effectively. When we're able to shift our attention and energy to controllable inputs that drive toward desired results instead of the results themselves: we see the results! It's like buying a gym membership, paying the monthly fee, not working out at all for six months then complaining you're still the same weight you're at and blaming the gym for your lack of progress. Buying the gym membership doesn't guarantee that six pack. If you want results, it requires work and ongoing effort at three levels: 1) Employers/People Teams 2) Employees themselves 3) Client Success In closing... #1 Show your employees you care, like actually care. Invest in your workforce beyond their 9 to 5 and they will be way more fulfilled, present, and productive during it. #2 It is integral to give your employees access to this level of resources, though they may not "be fully bought in" right away. I challenge you to think about how you're watering this seed you've planted, how you're actively and strategically communicating these resources to your people. Be patient, stay the course and reach out to your Client Success team too if you got it, Modern Health has a pretty damn good one if I do say so myself. Hopefully you all made it through my analogies, but would love to hear your thoughts! And I should probably get some sleep 🤣 #MentalHealthIsModernHealth
