Vaccines save lives, it's true. The benefits of vaccines far outweigh their danger. Yes, it's true: nothing is 100% safe. Now we are able to save so many lives with vaccines. The difference between having vaccines and not is like living in the dark ages versus a modern society. Some people are not sure which COVID "booster" to get, so I provided some clarity to VeryWell Health for a recent article. The term "booster" is a misnomer. All FDA-approved shots, which have been formulated to address more current strains of SARS-CoV-2, are now considered doses - not boosters. As far as which vaccine is preferable, all of the currently available vaccines are relatively equal in their ability to prevent severe COVID-19.
