Job Summary Curating and enhancing 'ClubLife' and increasing Club Member Growth by ensuring execution of programming and communications for Club. Develop and ensure execution of relevant and engaging Member events and experiences and implementing thorough and consistent communications strategies. Day to Day: Execute all Member Events and Programs with member and committee feedback Create and execute relevant programs with purpose with consideration of your Club Members, product, and position Connect and Engage Members, drive revenue, invite and Partner with Community Audience or aligned Brand Attend signature events, holidays, charity classics, and ongoing meet-ups Oversee committee management, quarterly game plan/monthly calendars, ongoing content calendar Create storytelling and content focused communications Man Social Media by responding to posts, verifying events, etc. Membership Recognition on Social Media and in GM Message Update in Club marketing i.e., Posters, table tents, enplug etc Update GM message, including club closure, weather announcements, crisis management, etc. About you Undergraduate degree preferred. Educational concentration in business, communications, journalism, public relations, hospitality management, or recreation. Experience of 2-4 Years in Hospitality, Customer Relations, or Marketing Communications Prefer experience in one or more of the following: sales, relationship management, food. beverage operations, customer service, membership associations, and/or fundraising Prior experience in leading a team or project to a successful outcome is preferred. Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Service-oriented mindset making every guest feel valued. Strong communication skills verbal, written, phone, text, and social media communications. Work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time. Strong organizational skills

Job titles matter. But they can also be confusing. Don't be confusing...   “I’m an account executive…” can mean one thing if you’re working for a PR agency, and something completely different if you’re working for a technology company.   Heck, I know marketing managers who are the entire marketing team for a business and others running large, global teams.   So, job titles are a source of pride for people; a shorthand for personal and professional growth and a reflection of the hard work someone has put in to advance their career. They’re also a useful way for people to understand where they, and their colleagues, ‘fit’ within an organisation.   But for clients the accountabilities and responsibilities associated with a particular job title aren’t always clear. So, if you’re introducing yourself, think about how you can help them understand your role, rather than leaving them to work it for themselves based on your job title.   If you absolutely need to state your job title, then do, but it should supplement the rest of your introduction, not supersede it. So, something like this is fine:   Hi. My name... I’m [e.g., Head of PR] My background is… I’m here today to talk you through… (how you’re going to do something great for the person/people you’re meeting)   Don’t skip the last two sentences.   And remember, you are not a job title, you are an individual.   #businessdevelopment #clients #introductions
