The new Rust video is out. We’re now diving into more complex concepts. I was surprised to find out that 70% of viewers weren't confident with generics. This is also your chance to learn generics for any language for free. Note: I'm A/B testing thumbnails for YT #rust #programming #software #coding #programming https://lnkd.in/d-nx3VkB

Day 28: Epic Battle Simulation with Custom Characters! ⚔️ Today, I took my characters from the previous day and pitted them against each other in an epic battle! Using an automated game battle system, I simulated thrilling encounters between these unique characters, complete with health stats, strength, and dynamic combat rounds. Day 28 Challenge - Character Generation: Utilized Day 27's-character generator to create two distinct characters with randomized attributes. - Automated Battle System: Employed a while loop to simulate battles between the characters until one of them runs out of health. - Dice Rolling Mechanism: Rolled a six-sided dice for both characters in each round to determine the winner. - Damage Calculation: Calculated the damage inflicted by the winning character based on their strength stats compared to the loser's. - Dynamic Feedback: Displayed battle outcomes, damage dealt, and remaining health after each round, with colorful text and emojis for visual appeal. Key Features: - Dynamic Combat: Each round presents a dynamic battle scenario with alternating winners and losers based on dice rolls and strength stats. - Visual Feedback: Utilized colors, emojis, and clear screen commands to enhance the visual experience and readability of the battle simulation. - Looping Mechanism: The battle continues until one character's health reaches zero, ensuring an engaging and interactive experience for the user. This challenge was an exciting opportunity to bring my characters to life and immerse myself in the world of epic battles and heroic showdowns! Day 28 of #Replit100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfCode. Day 87 of #100DaysOfCode: Illuminating the Street Challenge 🏮🌃 Yesterday, I tackled a fascinating problem called Vanya and Lanterns! The task was to determine the minimum light radius needed to light a street with lanterns placed at various positions. 🌟 Link to the problem 👉 https://lnkd.in/dHmS5fSq 🛠️ My Approach: To solve this problem, I followed these steps: 1. Input Reading: I read the length of the street (l) and the number of lanterns (n), storing them in variables. 2. Lantern Position Handling: Read the positions of the lanterns into an array (arr). Sort the array in ascending order. 3. Radius Calculation: Initialize a variable (maxi) to the maximum of the distance from the first lantern to the beginning of the street (arr[0]) and from the last lantern to the end of the street (l - arr[n-1]). Iterate through the lantern positions in the array, calculating the distance between adjacent lanterns and dividing it by 2 to get the radius of light coverage for each gap. Update maxi to the maximum of maxi and the calculated radius. 4. Output: Print the value of maxi as the minimum light radius needed to light the entire street. This approach efficiently determines the minimum light radius required for the street! 💡 Here's a link to my solution: https://lnkd.in/dWUvnfMU 👨💻 Problem Solved: I successfully calculated the minimum light radius needed to light the entire street, ensuring that all areas are illuminated. 📢 If you have any suggestions or a different approach, feel free to reach out! Let's discuss and learn together. 🚀 Feel free to contact me if you have any better approach or have doubts regarding my approach. I created a C# plugin for Godot called Mind Game that lets you run a large language model (LLM) within the engine interface on your local device. I am currently working on LLaVa functionality so the AI can analyze what is happening live in the viewport. I updated the AntiPrompts to be compatible with llama3 which works even better than Mistral! Future steps: implement the RAG functionality I made in a previous console app, add Stable Diffusion image generation, and allow the AI to crawl project files and create scripts #ai #godot #llama3 #llm #meta #mistral #rag
