📢 Exciting news! Module selects 8 housing providers across 5 states for its Mission-Driven Developer Program. The selected housing providers are pursuing innovative approaches to increasing housing supply and are dedicated to creating new affordable, mixed-income, and workforce housing in historically disinvested communities. 🥁 Meet the developers in the 2024 Cohort: 🥁 🏠 Amani Christian CDC - Addressing Pittsburgh, PA’s Hill District needs, Amani, a non-profit, faith-based developer, is building affordable for-sale homes. The homes will be sold to homebuyers making less than 80% of the median income. 🏘️ Common Roots - and the City of Meadville are partnering to create new, permanently affordable homes in the heart of the city. The homes will be part of the Common Roots community land trust, ensuring they remain affordable for generations to come. 🏘️ Durham Community Land Trustees, Inc. - The Durham Affordable Sustainable Homeownership (DASH) project will produce permanently affordable, net-zero homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to provide housing for multi-generational households or increase wealth building through leasing the ADU affordably. 🛠️ Harrison Development - Driving urban transformation in Baltimore's Upton Gateway, creating affordable, dignified living spaces. In addition to renovating homes, Harrison Development will also build new construction, for-sale homes. 🌍 Howard Building Science - Focused on sustainable (DOE’s Zero Energy Ready Standard) attainable housing in Western North Carolina, their pocket neighborhood, featuring semi-detached homes for workforce housing, is nearing completion. 🌆 Mulford Corporation - In partnership with the Yonkers Housing Authority (YHA), Mulford is piloting an affordable homeownership program that ensures lasting affordability, providing homes for both homeowners and tenants receiving rental assistance. 🏘️ Scott Crawford, Inc. - Scott Crawford is pursuing infill residential development and plans to develop a modular home that reflects the character of the surrounding neighborhood. 🏙️ Soar City Development Co. - is transforming Philadelphia with affordable homes through public-private partnerships. Dedicated to uplifting the youth, they’re setting up communities to soar toward growth and empowerment. Together, we're building a world where everyone lives in a well designed space they are proud to call home.
