Just had my mind blown by an incredible article from Caroline Adams 🚀 "How to win friends, influence people, and conquer digital transformation" Who would've thought Dale Carnegie's wisdom could be such a game-changer for our digital age? Talk about the power of good communication! - Engaging frontline employees isn't just nice, it's crucial. After all, they're the ones making it happen on the ground. - Trust and collaboration? Non-negotiable for real change. The article is packed with practical tips too. Whether you're wrestling with a big digital overhaul or just trying to get your team excited about new tech, there's something in here for you. Give it a read. I grew up as a marketer always hearing about Dale Carnegie's wisdom -- i.e. genuinely make marketing about other people and you will win. This is more important than ever, as the marketing industry has undergone so much transformation. We might get a little caught up in the numbers and tech stack and forget that marketing is about *humanity.* 💞 This applies across industries and job functions. My colleague Caroline Adams writes how Dale Carnegie's wisdom is a guide to digital transformation in general: MAKE IT ABOUT THE PEOPLE and you will be much more successful. #digitaltransformation

Thought provoking article I read in Forbes with regard to daring to differentiate and challenging the status quo. Shared some thoughts below and a question. To paraphrase the article's author: "Successful leaders focus on setting a unique purpose that attracts people to the mission and encourages action." This reminded me of Simon Sinek's well known book "Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action". Sinek rightfully suggests that successful business leaders reverse the process and start with Why. Take Apple - starting with Why is the reason Apple has flourished while others have not. I am not saying every company can be Apple, but every company can start with Why. In my opinion, companies may start out asking Why, but many ultimately deviate from the process because of internal as well as external distractions. Do you work for a company where the CEO or C-suite leaders start with "Why"? #Ask Why #Leadership #Feedback https://lnkd.in/esQh8UuJ

Facilitating Effective Business Transitions: Culture Alignment, Driving Growth, and Strategic Planning for Founder/CEOs and Integrators.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to listen to Kristy Siefkin's talk about being there for your audience when speaking. It was thought-provoking, and today's blog from Apex GTS Advisors ties in nicely. We often say we should listen to understand, but what about speaking to be understood? Are we clear in our communications? To be clear in your guidance, you must first understand what the other individual seeks. To do so, you must master the art of questioning. Check out the latest blog from Apex! #communication #listening #artofquestionning #ApexGTS
