The groundbreaking of the Jeddah Logistics Park has special significance for us at DP World. The Jeddah Islamic Port was our first concession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and our first outside of the UAE in 1999. Our SAR 900 million project, a testament to our strong partnership with Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and ongoing commitment to Saudi Vision 2030, will revolutionise the Kingdom's integrated logistics landscape. When complete, the new Jeddah Logistics Park will be the largest integrated facility ever connected to the port, with an expansive 185,000 square-metre warehouse suitable for businesses of all types. And at the South Container Terminal, its capacity will handle over five million containers, supporting growing trade demands. This new infrastructure will allow local businesses to connect with customers in the region and beyond along the Asia-Europe shipping route, while creating exciting new employment opportunities across the Kingdom. They swiftly arranged overland transit to Aqaba, ensuring timely delivery despite unexpected logistical adjustments. Despite the initial disruption of the planned RORO service, EFS Logistics adapted quickly, coordinating with stakeholders and efficiently managing customs at Dammam Port. They ensured strict adherence to safety protocols during overland transport, delivering the boats securely and on schedule to Aqaba Port.
