Women of India: A Force to be Reckoned With In recent years, Indian women have made significant strides in various fields, breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes. According to a 2022 report by McKinsey & Company, women hold 15% of board seats in India, up from 12% in 2017. This progress is being driven by factors such as increased education and skills among women, as well as a growing awareness of the need for gender diversity in corporate leadership. In sports, Indian women are also making waves. In recent years, Indian women have won medals at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games.
