🚀 Had an incredible time at the Credable Future Hackathon yesterday! 💡 I participated in the Data Science challenge, diving deep into the world of data analysis and revenue maximization. Here's a glimpse into what I accomplished: 📊 Objective: The core objective was to optimize the profitability of upselling and upgrading loans for existing customers. This involved determining the product mix and forecasting sales for 2023. ⏰ Duration: The challenge spanned 4 intense hours of problem-solving. 💻 The Exercise: I was tasked with determining the optimal mix of cash loans and TV upgrades to sell to current customers in 2023. This required analyzing dummy sales data provided and adhering to certain business rules. 📈 Questions Answered: Sales Forecast: After crunching the numbers, I determined the monthly sales of cash loans and TV upgrades for 2023 under the profit-maximizing product mix. Profit Calculation: I calculated the expected total profit using the optimal product mix. Potential Business Rule Adjustments: I brainstormed creative ways to tweak existing rules to enhance profitability further.
