We at Neqtar Medical wholeheartedly agree with the powerful statement by Dr. Matshidiso Moeti, WHO Regional Director for Africa: "Advanced medical equipment is critical for accurate diagnoses, effective treatment, and improved patient outcomes in Africa." Dr. Moeti's words highlight a critical challenge – the lack of access to modern medical equipment in many African healthcare facilities. This shortage can lead to misdiagnosis, limited treatment options, and ultimately, compromised patient care. Neqtar Medical is dedicated to being part of the solution. We provide state-of-the-art medical equipment across Africa, along with training programs to ensure healthcare professionals can utilize it effectively. By working together, we can empower healthcare providers and deliver better patient outcomes for all Africans. 😨😨😨Sub-Saharan Africa spends only 5% of GDP on healthcare, which is far lower than the worldwide average. There is a noticeable lack of medical equipment in the region. 🌍The WHO's 2017 Global Atlas of Medical Equipment reveals that only 11% of African countries have at least one MRI machine per 1 million people, and only 24% have at least one CT scanner. 🤕🤕🤕🤒 🌎 This is compared to 62 percent in the Middle East and 89 percent in Europe for MRI machines, and 85 percent in the Middle East and 97 percent in Europe for CT scanners. For African healthcare providers, many of whom are small and medium-sized businesses, purchasing medical equipment might daunting task. 🌪️🌪️🌪️🌪️Highly specialized knowledge of the market is needed to gain a clear grasp of what equipment to buy, where to get it, and how much to pay for it. 👨🏿⚕️ 🌍🇨🇮One of our medical partners in Abidjan, the medical clinic Les lourdes, which provides one of the quality care in our communities and is run by Dr. Halid, is displaying his new acquisition. Seeing the smile on his face as he proudly shows off the latest equipment gives us reassurance that our partnership is making a real difference in improving healthcare in the region. We are grateful for his dedication and commitment to providing quality care to those in need. We firmly believe that providing EnvoyX credit to our community's local heroes is the key to creating a sustainable and thriving healthcare system for all. 𝑨 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒅𝒂𝒘𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 For years, Africa has lagged behind in development, often slow to adopt new technologies and innovations in favor of maintaining the status quo.𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. #Healthcare >> The future of healthcare in Ukraine: what will change in 2024-2026? Ukraine continues to take important steps to modernize its healthcare system. The main changes that the system will face in the coming years: 🔹 Renovation of medical facilities: the state purchases innovative equipment - from tomographs and MRI to specialized devices for oncology diagnostics. 1,000 ambulances, 200 CT scanners, and MRI machines, along with 15 linear accelerators, have been purchased. 🔹 Three-year contracts with suppliers will provide hospitals with stable and predictable supply. 🔹 Prozorro Market. The use of this platform not only speeds up the procurement process, but also saves up to 20% of the budget, which is important in the context of the economic challenges faced by the country. 🔹 Improved access to medicines. Medical Procurement of Ukraine (MPU) is actively working to improve access to essential medicines and medical devices for Ukrainians. Particular emphasis is placed on patients with serious illnesses, such as oncology, for whom timely and high-quality medicines are vital. 🔹 Long-term cooperation with international partners. Support from international organizations such as USAID and the EU allows Ukraine to implement innovative approaches in the healthcare system. These changes will contribute to better and more efficient service for Ukrainians. The main goal is to provide everyone with access to advanced medical services.
