Internship importance is due to experience it gives But you can same experience by doing own employment projects or you can also use your studies projects to show experience. For anyone starting an internship over the next few weeks, I wanted to share 3 pieces of advice that helped me in my first internship: ⭐ Start an accomplishment journal. For any project or milestone, keep track of how you did it and the result. This journal will be invaluable when it comes time to showcase your contributions and enhance your resume at the end of your internship. ⭐ Internships are an interview. The way you perform on an internship can inform whether or not you'll get a return offer for the following year. Use this time to be a sponge and truly learn the role. Determine if this is the team or company you want to be a part of. It's a mutual process; give it your all while also evaluating if it's the right fit for you. ⭐ Network early and often. Have coffee with someone new. Take lunch with someone on a different team. Connect with other interns. The relationships you make today might be ones you want to carry with you into the future. you never know how a single connection might open doors for you, or vice versa!
