🌳 Just Completed Research Project: Exploring Green Spaces in California's Major Cities! 🌳
Happy #SocialSaturday, everyone! I am thrilled to share the results of my recently completed research project on parks and cities in California. 🏞️
Here's a snapshot of the key findings on the number of parks about the area (in square miles) and population of some of California's largest cities:
📊 Data Highlights:
Los Angeles: With an area of 503 sq mi and a population nearing 4 million, it boasts 451 parks.
San Diego: 372 sq mi and 400 parks for its 1.38 million residents.
San Jose: 206 parks within 181 sq mi for a population of 983,489.
San Francisco: Despite its smaller area (46.87 sq mi), it has 82 parks for 815,201 people.
Fresno: 84 parks across 117.49 sq mi serving 538,195 residents.
These stats highlight the dedication of these cities to maintaining green spaces and providing recreational areas for their communities. 🌿
📊 Graph Insight: The bar chart vividly illustrates a clear correlation between the area of the cities and the number of parks, showcasing a commitment to preserving green spaces regardless of city size.
This research underscores the vital role that urban parks play in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for residents. 🌟
