Safety at work is particularly important to us. Our staff are trained in both safety at work and first aid. We follow near misses and learn from them. There were fewer accidents last year, but there is still work to be done on safety. Check out our Responsibility Report 2023 👉 https://hubs.li/Q02snCZy0

SAFETY FIRST A good number of improvements that we have realized these past 3 weeks are related to Safety.... and it feels grrrrreat and very rewarding!! We relocated and reorganized our Safety Board, established weekly to monthly Safety Audits, replaced old eye wash stations, painted walkway aisle, conducted Hearing Test, trained more First Aiders (now with more certified First Aiders), solidified the Safety Committee, and much more. It was a good start to Tamarack's Safety program revamp, but we know we have much more to do.... and more importantly sustaining the gains that we have realized in keeping our Team and each one of us safe. "Safe today, Safer tomorrow." #safety #safetyfirst #5s #lean #operationalexcellence

"Safety isn’t expensive, it’s priceless.” – Anonymous. We held another Safety committee meeting, led by our Fire & Safety Officer, Mr. Nikhil shaji ( NEBOSH , TECH IOSH). He enlightened us on different kinds of injuries that can be caused by fire, how to prevent them and what first aid measures can be taken to mitigate the damage. This enriching session equipped us to deal with such emergency situations in a much better way.
