New research conducted by the Wellbeing Research Centre's Industrial Relations Journal has indicated that individual mental health interventions within businesses may not be enhancing workplace well-being for UK employees as suggested. After surveying over 46,000 workers, the likes of mindfulness and stress management have a lack of support for their effectiveness. One key factor to note: Dr William Fleming, a researcher at the University of Oxford, pinpointed the need for more ambitious, organisational-level changes such as bettering job design and flexible scheduling - which will provide lasting improvements in employee mental health. The results of this truly indicate the importance of re-shaping workplace environments in 2024 rather than solely focusing on your individual interventions. Take the first step with Caldeira Consulting today. #WorkplaceWellbeing #EmployeeMentalHealth #ReasearchInsights #OxfordUniversity #IndustrialRelationsJournal
