My time at Assurance IQ comes to an end in a couple of weeks... Prudential made the decision to officially close Assurance IQ on July 3. 😢 As the company's first PR Director, my work helped land hundreds of articles in publications like CBS News, CNN, Fox Business, Forbes, US News & World Report, Kiplinger's, Quartz, Informationweek, Computerworld and Digital Insurance. In less than a year, we had the #1 earned media share of voice against our top competitors, saw media coverage quadruple and significantly increased web traffic. 💪 We told great stories about protecting consumers' finances with personalized insurance guidance, how we built our data-driven culture, and how we used AI and data science to do it all. I learned more about insurance than I ~ever~ dreamed possible thanks to our amazing spokespeople. When I first heard the news, I thought I'd take the summer off to relax, learn some new skills on my mountain bike, and do projects on the house we just bought in the mountains of Summit County, Colorado... ...but then I started to tell people that I was available for work. I agreed to a couple of projects. And then, somehow, I ended up in business for myself nearly full-time. 🤯 📣 As my last day of work approaches, I’m officially taking the leap into full-time public relations consulting and freelance writing. And while things took off MUCH faster than I expected, I do have space to take on 1-2 more regular clients or project work starting in July or August. I am here to help if you need any or all of the following: ✅ MEDIA RELATIONS: If you’re struggling to gain traction with reporters or don’t know where to begin, I can help at a fraction of the price of an agency. I’ll work with you to ID timely + compelling story angles, identify the *right* reporters, and pitch. I’m scrappy and creative, and I love a good challenge. I’m not afraid to take on PR for the most complex or niche technologies and brands. ✅ RESEARCH-LED THOUGHT LEADERSHIP: Data storytelling is my specialty. Most companies launch generic, self-serving research that makes you think, “so what?” But if you want to do research that reveals headline-grabbing insights and drives major traffic to your website… let’s do it! I can help with everything from concepting and conducting your research, to launching it to the press and your customers. I’ve led dozens of PR research projects that generated mega media coverage while driving quality business leads. ✅ GHOST WRITING: Writing will always be my true love. Whether you need help ghost writing for executives, crafting LinkedIn posts, or developing SEO-friendly blog posts, I’m your person. Niche Mastery for Insurance Agencies, Brokers and Financial Service Firms | Helping you create industry niche content that gets attention, generates leads and drives revenue growth | 👉 "The Riches Are in the Niches"
Harsh content creation truth for insurance agencies, brokers and producers...👇 Posting consistently on LinkedIn isn't content creation, despite what the self-proclaimed "content creators" in our industry may be telling you. Yes, creating value-based content can achieve 3 big things: - Getting attention (differentiate you from competitors) - Generating high quality leads - Driving revenue growth (ROI) But... The biggest mistake I see people making in this industry is NOT having a well choregraphed and "architected" content creation STRATEGY. Posting random content without a strategy is equivalent to an Insurance Agent calling a prospect and asking, "Hey, I'm a local Insurance Agent, can I get an opportunity to QUOTE on your business?" A content creation STRATEGY is about asking yourself..."How can I leverage my time, create one marketing asset that I can transform and repurpose into 10, 20 or 30 pieces of content in multiple formats?" Your "Dream Clients" aren't on LinkedIn everyday. Some aren't even on this platform at all, frankly. But, you can "hit them up" in multiple ways to give them the opportunity to consume your content in other places, too: Solution: Our "Content Flywheel Strategy" → Make one piece of long form content (like a video, audio, podcast, transcript or written text, etc.) and transform it into: - Short form videos - Webinars and workshops - LinkedIn posts - Other social media platform posts - Podcast episodes - YouTube videos - Newsletters - Blog posts - Sales scripts - Personalized video scripts - Titles and show notes - Email marketing campaigns - Educational courses - Creating lead magnets - Presentations Just to name a few. When you have this Content Flywheel Strategy, you can repurpose ALL your content into all these formats from 1 single marketing asset, SO THAT... You get the attention of your "Dream Clients" in multiple ways THEY want to consume your value, not just one. My grandpa used to say..."The more poles you have in the water and the more bait you have on each line, the greater your chances of landing the big fish" This is also how I'm able to generate higher quality leads and drive revenue growth with content. And, the primary reason why and passion behind launching Content Alchemy™ Lab ...to SOLVE this very problem for insurance agencies, brokers, MGAs and producers. And, no, I don't have a fancy website yet nor did I spend a fortune on a snazzy logo, or any of that nonsense that doesn't matter right now...we're still on the journey of proving "product-market-fit" stage. But, if you're interested in learning more, hit me up with a DM or reply to this post with the word "CONTENT" and I'll send you a short, private personalized video with details (must be following me). #insurance #riskmanagement #insurancecontentcreation

I sell luxury cookware and I fucking love it. Have I ever worked in the food world before? No. But you know what a creative strategist is fucking great at? Becoming an expert in a new field at record speed. We are jacks of all trades, hardcore researchers, wildly creative thinkers, and whip-smart marketers. I've sold everything from bras to life insurance, soap to fintech, and everything in between. And now I can rattle off the difference between term and whole life insurance (even though people beg me not to), and understand how gross loofahs are more than I ever wanted to know. A creative strategist doesn't need experience in your specific industry to bring immense value to your brand. We are masters of pivoting - just give us a few weeks and we'll blow you away. So hiring managers, take a chance on that strategist without a background in your product. And strategists, apply to those jobs that you may not think you're qualified for. You are.

Writer, Editor - Corporate and marketing communications: Articulate, strategically-focused content — on message, on time
Wordsmithing in the time of AI Over my career as a writer and editor, I’ve observed how AI enables more efficient science and more personalized care. Now, AI tools are dramatically reducing the time it takes to manufacture content. But some content ought not to be “manufactured.“ Some content requires in-depth discussions to learn the executive’s voice…or insight into the political landscape and personalities involved…or a precise word, phrase or positioning to draw the reader into a circle of interest and participation. Here are three examples of when my writing and editing skills, curiosity, and interest in people, helped me to deliver impact, value, and results: · A senior scientist who develops AI-based solutions for clinical labs, asked me to help prepare a presentation for a global biopharma conference. Using our conversations and the technical content of her draft as source materials, I drew out a compelling story: how AI solutions help lab managers to enjoy working with greater efficiency, less stress, and improved compliance—all while supporting more patient-centric care. And I used language consistent with new corporate branding. · The CEO of an international property and casualty insurance company asked me to edit a book chapter about him, to be published in a collection of case studies on successful corporate turnarounds. I fixed issues with chronology, syntax, punctuation, and grammar. But most important of all for the CEO, my edits reinforced the company’s value proposition in the marketplace and why it was the partner of choice for the industry’s best independent agents. · The president of a corporate charitable foundation engaged me on an especially high-profile project: the $32-million restoration of an historic theatre. To grow interest and financial support, we shaped a vision of all the ways the renovated theatre would benefit the city and its residents. Materials included op-ed essays, news releases, letters to local community and business leaders, a history of the theatre, playbill advertisements, and permanent lobby plaques. The value of human insight and experience I understand AI’s appeal for marketing departments with a mandate to “do more with less,” i.e. reduce headcount and attendant costs such as hiring, training, salaries, benefits, etc. I also know the limitations of AI-based writing tools. AI tools can’t look you in the eye and connect in conversation. They can’t ask thoughtful follow-up questions on a subject you are passionate about. AI doesn’t do passion and it isn’t interested in your goals or mission. It certainly doesn’t love language. For some writing assignments, none of these things matter. But if you have a writing or editing assignment where you think passion, interest and a love of language might be helpful, then I hope you will contact me. I am available on a contract or freelance basis. Thank you for reading. - Arny Spielberg P: 508-981-1206 E: arnyspielberg@yahoo.com
