Exciting news! I recently published a blog post on building a Text and Image Search NodeJS AI App using DataStax Astra DB and vector search. This powerful technique brings the magic of generative AI to your applications, and with the right tools, it's surprisingly simple. In the post, I walk you through a step-by-step process of building a NodeJS application with support for DataStax Astra DB and vector search. I leverage stargate-mongoose and a JSON API to demonstrate how you can harness the capabilities of these technologies. As a new engineer on the DataStax Stargate team, I took on the tradition of developing a demo app as my first project. Utilizing the Stargate's new JSON API and the Mongoose driver Stargate-Mongoose, I created this NodeJS app to showcase their potential.
