You have a car with an unlimited gas tank and it costs cost[i] of gas to travel from the ith station to its next (i + 1)th station. You begin the journey with an empty tank at one of the gas stations. Given two integer arrays gas and cost, return the starting gas station's index if you can travel around the circuit once in the clockwise direction, otherwise return -1. Output validation is crucial to create a reliable Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system. In our blog post series on RAG output validation, we delved into the practicalities and challenges of validating RAG systems. 💻 In the first part of this series, we focused on quantitative output validation through the RAGAs framework. In the second part, we focused on the different ways to establish a ground truth dataset, a crucial prerequisite for RAGAs. 📝 In the last part of this series, we focus on qualitative output validation through human feedback and LLM-based feedback as a hybrid form of quantitative and qualitative validation. 👨💻 Quantitative and qualitative validation flows are not exclusive, nor do they operate in isolation. #DYK | #ESMA and the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) have a long-established cooperative relationship considering the interlinkages between spot and derivative energy markets. One of the fora where this collaboration takes place is the Energy Trading Enforcement Forum (ETEF) where the energy National Regulatory Authorities, the financial National Competent Authorities, ESMA, and ACER discuss implementation issues concerning market abuse rules and share their experience in relation to their supervisory activity and enforcement actions.   This year’s ETEF took place at the ESMA premises last October and gathered around 110 energy and financial regulators, ACER and ESMA staff. The agenda covered the ACER LNG benchmark, recent enforcement decisions on market abuse impacting energy markets, the TTF market and common surveillance challenges. The first ETEF was organised in 2017.   ESMA and ACER have signed in March 2023 an updated Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which strengthened their collaboration. This incorporates new cooperation areas under the Market Correction Mechanism Regulation and benchmarks related to the energy sector. It also details the role of the joint Task Force. I am thrilled to share some recent work using the PHAST software to analyze gas dispersion under varying wind conditions. PHAST is a powerful tool for assessing the potential impacts of hazardous gas releases, ensuring safety, and mitigating risks in industrial environments. In this study, I simulated gas dispersion for two different wind speed and stability scenarios: - 2/F - 5/D Higher wind speeds tend to disperse the gas more horizontally, while lower wind speeds and stable conditions confine the plume more vertically. #PHAST #GasDispersion
