For women in traditionally male-dominated industries like engineering and construction, board representation is crucial for driving change, fostering inclusivity, and creating opportunities. Initiatives like this promote diversity and pave the way for a future where women can thrive, lead, and shape the industry at every level. The climate crisis is monumental and requires everyone of working age to be fully engaged in finding solutions. All barriers to participation must be removed. With the skills gap as large as it is, it is very much an employee's market right now. Companies wishing to attract and retain talent should take heed of this statement.
