Monika Lessl, PhD’s Post

For #innovation to succeed, it is important for life science companies to integrate robust, independent guidance into their operations.   At #TeamBayer, a key way we do this is via our Bioethics Council, of which I’m a proud Executive Sponsor. It’s an independent group of experts advising us about bioethical questions in the use of emerging life science technologies.   At a meeting of the Council I attended last month, every session reinforced the importance of embedding different perspectives into our approach to AI.   As a research company, Bayer has a phenomenal responsibility to drive innovation, fundamentally changing global health and nutrition in the future. Working closely with our bioethical experts is essential in this mission, as with their expertise, they help us ensure effective and ethical delivery of innovation.   To see how we’ve integrated expert guidance into our bioethical principles at Bayer, visit: https://lnkd.in/e9tK_nGk   Karen Köhler Laura Hoffmeister Robin M.
