A significant number of strides have been made when it comes to #mentalhealth, including recognizing the needs of #patients and the necessity of removing any #stigma to advance discussions. A lot of that change has occurred relatively quickly since the start of #COVID19. However, there may be some perceived frustration that "fixes" or "resolutions" are not being seen. That may be missing the point that mental health is different from physical #healthcare. Avoiding frustration and focusing on the long-term will likely be beneficial. There is still a lot of room for improvement and refinement, so appreciate what has already happened. https://lnkd.in/eMc2gxnZ

🧠❤️ Did you know that there is a strong link between mental health and physical health? People with severe mental health disorders are at a higher risk of experiencing chronic physical conditions. Conversely, those with chronic physical conditions are more likely to develop mental health issues. This interconnectedness highlights the importance of a holistic approach to health care, where both mental and physical health are treated with equal importance. Addressing one often helps improve the other, leading to better overall well-being. Join me and @Take5ToTalk in raising awareness about the comorbidity of mental and physical health conditions. Let’s advocate for integrated health care solutions that support the whole person. #MentalHealthAwareness #PhysicalHealth #Take5ToTalk #HolisticHealth #IntegratedCare #MentalHealthMatters #HealthAndWellness
