The consideration of technology in aged care and palliative care is timely. Significant digital transformation in Australia's health and social care landscape is underway. The need for evidence-based, policy-informed solutions that support care processes without increasing the workload is critical. The ELDAC Digital Dashboard is a palliative care solution for aged care4.
'The integration of digital solutions into clinical systems is crucial to facilitating these processes, ensuring that care providers can deliver compassionate, informed, and efficient end-of-life care.' Scaling Growth & Operations Expert | Patient Care Quality & Experience Innovator | Leading through Faith
Historically, our health system has practiced "disease-centric care," which concentrates on at-the-moment health issues. However, I'm happy to see a shift taking place to "human-centric care," which prioritizes patient engagement and activation. I agree that the definition of success needs to change when it comes to healthcare. It needs to change to "where the patient feels they are living life to its fullest." 🎉 #Healthcare #HumanCentricCare #PatientExperience

Chief Communications Officer, STEM NOLA | STEM Global Action • Board Chair, Alzheimer's Association Louisiana Chapter [21.5K+ micro-influencers]
The U.S. House Committee on Ways & Means addressed the benefits of health care at home, particularly for Medicare patients. At a hearing, patients shared how receiving care at home has improved their health and quality of life. With temporary flexibilities, millions of patients now benefit from receiving health care in their homes, especially in rural and underserved areas where access to adequate health care is limited. Witnesses testified to the positive impact of at-home care, including fewer emergency room visits and improved vital signs. They highlighted the importance of in-person care for setting treatments that patients can safely administer at home. As the Committee explores ways to preserve and improve at-home care, witnesses urged reforms that provide patients and doctors with more certainty, embrace new technology to offer high-quality care at lower prices, and improve quality through guardrails. #HealthCareAtHome #Medicare #RemotePatientMonitoring #Telehealth #RuralHealthCare #AtHomeCare #QualityOfLife #HealthTechnology #MedicalReforms https://lnkd.in/ggm3_DR7
