Meet Zion Onwujuba , a star student with ✨ THREE ✨ paid, technical internships under his belt before even finishing high school! With his sights set on a degree in #Electrical & #ComputerEngineering, he plans to attend the The University of Texas at Austin in the fall. Zion completed his time with Code2College in 2022 and has interned with our incredible partners, Indeed in Summer ‘22 and Arrive Logistics in ‘23 & ‘24! In his own words: "Having these software engineering internships while in high school helped me grow immensely. You have to learn to connect with people from a completely different generation. And then you have all of the technical skills that you learn that most people won't gain until they're in college or even after college. Which is absolutely crazy to have as a high school student. But the biggest thing these experiences have given me is the benefit for how I stand out in college applications. I have whole stories to share and it's really rare for a high school student to have this level of experience and to be able to tell these types of groundbreaking stories." 🚀 Exciting Update: Successfully Completed Task 2 at InternPe Internship! 🚀 Thrilled to share that I've accomplished Task 2 of the InternPe Internship journey! 🌟 In this phase, I had the opportunity to develop a car price predictor model using a Linear Regression approach, achieving an outstanding accuracy of 89.0%! 🚗💡 This accomplishment not only underscores my commitment to mastering machine learning but also showcases my ability to deliver impactful solutions. I'm grateful for the learning opportunities and excited about the progress made during this internship. Looking forward to sharing more updates as I continue to grow in this dynamic field.
