📢 BAVARIAN CHIPS ALLIANCE at Test engineering Summer School 2024 🌟 Last Wednesday, at the Test engineering Summer School 2024 in the beautiful Kloster Weltenburg, Dr. Malte Kohring had the opportunity to give an overview of the semiconductor industry in Bavaria - from suppliers to users - and to present the current activities of the Bavarian Chips Alliance. 🔍 The focus was on the following questions: 💡 What semiconductor production facilities do we have in Bavaria? 💡 What expertise is there in chip design? 💡 Which international companies are based in Bavaria? 💡 Which research institutions are working on the topic? 📌 Interested? You find an overview of the semiconductor ecosystem within the Bavarian Chips Alliance on our website ➡ https://lnkd.in/eVJG89-8 🙏 We would like to thank the Test engineering Summer School 2024 for the invitation once again. This year, the aim of the Summer School was to get 30 students interested in the topic of ‘Test Engineering and Back-End IC Development’ and to bring them together with relevant companies. 🎓🤝 #bayerninnovativ #innovationleben #bavarianchipsalliance #digitalisierung #halbleiter / Jürgen Frickinger / Malte Kohring / Lukas Zillich - [𝑊𝑒𝑟𝑏𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑒𝑔𝑒𝑛 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑘𝑖𝑒𝑟𝑢𝑛𝑔]

⚙️⚙️ Exploring the Pinnacle of Engineering Excellence: My Visit to FZG at TUM and MAN in Munich⚙️⚙️ During a recent visit to Munich's engineering marvels with the ADME (Advanced Design of Machine Elements) course at Politecnico di Milano, me and my colleagues Stefano Ceroni, Alessandro Gandin, Michele Zironi had the opportunity to extend our knowledge of engineering in an international environment. 🚀 I was struck by the sheer potential of engineering to revolutionize our world. ⚙️Gear Research Center (FZG) ⚙️ The FZG facility at TUM was a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection in machine elements. Witnessing the meticulous attention to the durability and performance of gears and transmissions, I was inspired by the potential of these innovations to enhance the machinery that powers our daily lives. 🚛 MAN Truck & Bus SE 🚛 At MAN, the future of transportation unfolded before my eyes. The integration of electromobility and automation in heavy-duty trucks promises a cleaner, more efficient tomorrow. It was a powerful reminder of engineering's role in steering us towards a sustainable future. Their production facility was astonishing. Industry 4.0 concepts were fully applied leading to an efficent production cycle and full integration with the suppliers. Their testing facilities for the assessment of the vehicle dynamics and transmission testing were impressive. These experiences have not only broadened my understanding but also fueled my passion for engineering. They've shown me that with dedication and creativity, engineers can indeed push the boundaries of what's possible. I want to thank all the people that shared their knowledge and experience with me.🤝 #Engineering #Innovation #Sustainability #FZG #TUM #MANTrucks #Munich #Polimi #ADME

The ProtAct-Us kick-off meeting officially takes place this week. In the transport sector, the vision zero describes the EU's goal of reducing the number of seriously injured and road deaths to zero. In a constantly changing mobility environment, which is currently characterised in particular by high levels of automation, innovative vehicle concepts and a high number of vulnerable road users (VRU), ensuring the safety of everyone involved is a major challenge. The Institute of Automotive Engineering (ika) and the University Hospital of RWTH Aachen University, together with other research and industrial partners from Europe, have been awarded a grant for the EU project "ProtAct-Us". The project represents a flagship project for interdisciplinary cooperation between the technical and medical faculties of RWTH Aachen University. #rwth #rwthaachen #automotive #automotiveengineering #EU

Join us at the lecture series on clean combustion technologies at Technische Universität München! We are pleased to be part of the lecture series "Combustion Engineering for a Decarbonized Future" at the Technical University of Munich. On July 8, our colleague Daniel Koch will give a presentation on "The Success Story of the Internal Combustion Engine - Towards a Sustainable and Climate Neutral Future with Hydrogen". The lecture series is aimed at students who are interested in ideas and developments in the field of combustion technology and aims to bring combustion technologies back into the focus of future engineers. We strongly believe in this approach and were on board as soon as we received the request from the TU. We are convinced that combustion technology per se is not an "environmental sinner", but rather, in combination with the right fuel, an essential and indispensable component for an emission-free and clean future, whether in mobility or in other areas. We are very much looking forward to the presentation and an inspiring exchange with the students! #hydrogencombustion #combustionengineering #hydrogenengine #hice #sustainability #cleanmobility #greenenergy #innovativetechnology

🎉 Thrilled to share that I have officially completed my Master’s in Engineering Systems at HAN University of Applied Sciences! 🎓 I successfully defended my final project, titled "The Development of an Assembly Inspection System for Automotive High Voltage Remanufacturing," and am proud to have received a grade of 8.1. The project result is a modular industrial system that easily can be expanded with a variety of sensors and digitally connected with internal services for Industry 4.0 and product traceability. In the center of this system is a scalable AI platform that runs algorithms you can choose. This system is tested with a camera and image classification algorithm resulting in a proof of concept accuracy of 98%. Looking back on this academic and professional journey as a part-time student, I feel a deep sense of pride and fulfillment. I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me in reaching this milestone. 🙏 Now, I’m excited to focus fully on the next chapter of my professional journey! 🚀 #Graduated #MastersDegree #EngineeringSystems #Automotive #Industry4_0 #Innovation #HANUniversity #ProudMoment #Thankful #NewBeginnings
