When I first started coaching, I’d throw the kitchen sink at every client on day 1. Fully custom meal plan, strict cardio regimen, 5 day training program. Very low compliance & not great results. Now, I hardly even tell clients what to eat week one, and I only have them do 4 short workouts to assess their fitness level in the first week. And the results are astronomically better. If you’re thinking of starting the year working out every day, meal prepping every single meal, running an hour a day… I challenge you to do HALF of that for 2 weeks straight first. Great information, but what I love about you , you’re not afraid to tell about your inexperience and your growth which has made you the best trainer I’ve seen to date . Your knowledge is very valuable and explained in a way that the average person seeking your expertise want feel shame or not worthy to ask for your help in their weight loss journey.
