Progress update from Nenagh Ormond RFC in Tipperary where we are currently constructing 2 no. artificial grass pitches. 1️⃣ 9,000 sq/m artificial grass pitch to replace the existing grass field 2️⃣ 50m x 40m artificial grass training pitch   ✅ Cut and fill complete on the main pitch, with drainage works underway ✅ Topsoil has been stripped from the training pitch.    One of the biggest advantages of converting from a grass field to an artificial turf playing surface is that that all club members will be able to play rugby all year round. This mix of the material is about 82% sand, with the rest being around 16% silt and 2% or less clay.
