For the sporty types, all types of sports courts, golf putting greens, and lawns scaled as fields are ideal additions to any backyard! Golf greens are particularly easy to maintain if done with faux turf (We know, we know… but actually the green plastic stuff is getting a lot nicer! We are surprised by the realism of the newly developed ‘grass,’ and with no watering, no mowing, and no weeds to mess up your game, it does have its advantages.)

Progress update from Nenagh Ormond RFC in Tipperary where we are currently constructing 2 no. artificial grass pitches. 1️⃣ 9,000 sq/m artificial grass pitch to replace the existing grass field 2️⃣ 50m x 40m artificial grass training pitch ✅ Cut and fill complete on the main pitch, with drainage works underway ✅ Topsoil has been stripped from the training pitch. One of the biggest advantages of converting from a grass field to an artificial turf playing surface is that that all club members will be able to play rugby all year round. No more worrying about muddy fields or weather-related cancellations. Rain or shine, teams will be out there practicing and playing. A well-built pitch base significantly influences its performance and lifespan. PST Sport build pitches from the ground up. Getting this stage right is pivotal in prolonging the longevity of your artificial turf pitch. From custom drainage systems to a solid stone base, we lay the groundwork for longevity and performance. #YourPitchOurPassion #NenaghOrmondRFC #TheFutureOfRugby #ArtificialGrassPitch #Rugby #BuildingTheFuture #PSTBase

How to Reduce Golf Course Turf Maintenance Costs-Four Stadium zoning management Dividing golf courses into different maintenance and management areas can greatly reduce maintenance costs. Of course, the maintenance level of greens, fairways, tee boxes and other areas of any golf course cannot and should not be reduced. However, in some areas you can try the following practices: First, divide the court drawing into squares and triangles. Each section designates a maintenance level and labels it from "A" to "G." Each section has its designated standards for fertilizer, watering, pruning, and pest control. Area A (green) can receive any required management, and other areas will reduce maintenance investment in sequence. This plan was submitted to the club management committee for approval after the maintenance staff reached consensus. This allows maintenance costs to be reduced in selected areas, thereby reducing overall costs. The implementation of these measures will not only not affect the quality and play of the course, but also form a "return to nature area" in areas where pruning or other maintenance measures are reduced, which will be appreciated by golfers. #golf #golfing #golfer #golflife #golfswing #golfcourse #golfstagram #golfchannel #golfday whatsapp: +15269639419 E-mail: sale@kashinturf.com Web: www.kashinturf.com | www.kashinturfcare.com

How to choose the proper golf turf ? Usage: Determine the primary use of the turf. Will it be for tees, fairways, roughs, or putting greens? Different areas of the golf course have different requirements in terms of durability, playability, and aesthetics. Durability: Select turf that can withstand heavy foot traffic, golf cart traffic, and environmental factors such as sun exposure and precipitation. Durability is especially important for high-traffic areas like tees and fairways. Playability: Choose turf that provides a consistent playing surface, good ball roll, and proper ball interaction. For putting greens, look for turf with a dense pile and consistent ball speed. Appearance: Consider the color and texture of the turf to ensure it complements the overall aesthetic of the golf course. Natural-looking turf with varying shades of green is often preferred. Maintenance: Evaluate the maintenance requirements of the turf, including mowing, watering, and grooming. Low-maintenance turf options may be preferable for areas where resources or labor are limited. hashtag #GolfCourseManagement hashtag #GolfTurfSelection hashtag #GolfCourseDesign hashtag #TurfManagement hashtag #GolfingTips Activate to view larger image,

Depending on the conditions of the course you normally play the bounce of your wedges can make a big difference. Low bounce for tight turf and higher bounce for fluffy turf is a good choice. 10 degrees is a lower bounce. #wedgebounce #shortgame #golftips #golfcoach #naplesflorida

It's "Derby Day". Will you be watching? Many horse tracks are shifting to a "turf track", The Kentucky Derby track for the today's race is a dirt track. This mix of the material is about 82% sand, with the rest being around 16% silt and 2% or less clay. Churchill Downs also has turf track for a variety of other races that are hosted there, which is maintained to a very high standard for it's overall appearance and the health of the horses running on the turf track. All grass isn't the same. Growing grass is a science. The grass track at Churchill Downs is made of a mixture of Kentucky Bluegrass and Kentucky 31 Fescue, and even fall fescue. We apply the same principles when working on your lawn, checking your soil first, our 7 & 12 step programs, top dressing to level the lawn, and the grasses we use to create a dense, easy to maintain and beautiful lawn. If you want a lawn like Churchill Downs, then give us a call. #turf #turfmanagement #grass #lawncare #grassseed #soiltesting #weedcontrol #soilaeration #soilamendments #phbalance #fertilization #slitseeding #prestigiousgrassisalwaysgreener #qualityisjobone #moregreenfewerweeds #loveyourlawn #CultivatingLuxury #gogreen
