Tonkin + Taylor launched our T+T Group Sustainability Report that looks at our 2023 progress and actions for 2024. T+T’s Executive Leader – Sustainability, Brett Ogilvie, says, “For me, our Sustainability Report reflects our commitment to transparency. While we are very proud to be leading the way in some areas, in other areas we still have work to do. But by being transparent about our goals and our progress towards them, we can hold ourselves to account, and be held to account for achieving ongoing progress”. This report references the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and focuses on our three key impacts: contributing to communities, taking care of nature in the built environment, and supporting the built environment workforce. It showcases the development of our sustainability services and what we are doing to “walk the talk” by embedding sustainability in T+T Group operations. From pioneering projects to collaborative initiatives, this report is also a testament to our commitment to sustainability in our project work. T+T’s Group Sustainability Programme Director Erica Olesson shares, “I’m excited to share some of the progress we made over the last year in our overall strategy and in each of the biggest areas we impact. I look forward to working with our internal team, clients, and partners, to continue building on this progress over the next year.” We want to thank our people, clients and partners for shaping this pivotal work, empowering us to make informed decisions and drive meaningful change. Together, we can redefine what's possible, to create and sustain a better world. Read the full report on our website: https://lnkd.in/gK4yS4hv

Sustainability Is At Our Core At Haworth, our sustainability journey is guided by our core values and more than 75 years of experience. Every year, we release our Corporate Social Responsibility report, detailing our latest achievements and concrete steps we've taken on our journey toward sustainability. Download the report here: https://lnkd.in/gzkNSkiq Key achievements from 2023: 🍃Circular economy: Through global collaborations, we've refurbished over 16,000 pieces of furniture, significantly reducing waste. We've also managed nearly 300 tons of products at their end-of-life stage responsibly and sustainably. 🍃Operational Performance: We've transitioned a subset of our supply contracts to renewable energy sources to minimise our carbon footprint. This shift resulted in reducing more than 235 tons of CO2e emissions per year — equivalent to about 117 round-trip flights from Paris to NYC. 🍃People: Over 450 Haworth Members participated in various volunteer activities, contributing 2,324 hours across 34 events. Nearly half of these efforts (47%) focused on environmental protection, including beach clean-ups, tree planting, and more.
