It's so exciting to see Monumental's vision become reality. We've taken on the brickwork for an entire sub-development of 14 houses near Rotterdam with 4 of our robots taking on a significant amount of the brickwork. As we continue to grow, we've opened up a couple non-engineering roles for the first time in a while: we're hiring an Head of Finance, an Executive Assistant/Operations Manager, and our first Deployment Managers. This is an exceptionally exciting time to join and help us scale up the number of humans, robots, projects and bricks! https://lnkd.in/eh4GG993
VERY cool Salar al Khafaji! We'd love to help you tell this story!
Congrats on your growth and good to see you are hiring! But, I don’t understand the logic of applying resources and effort to create a robot to mimic a menial site task. Brick laying is an ancient form of building. Will Dutch home owners demand a brick facade that’s been assembled one brick at a time?? Why isn’t your focus on off-site manufacturing, where the robots can work inside factories, produce building panels, or even better, volumetric units. I just don’t see how this brick laying solution scales up or solves a housing shortage. I look forward to learning more about the logic behind this approach
