Having personally experienced chronic fatigue, I know how debilitating it is, so I am passionate about helping others recover from it. In my blog I explain the difference between physical fatigue and stress and stress-related fatigue, which have different characteristics, causes, and approaches to recovery. I also discuss how stress in the workplace is normalised and what the short and long term consequences of stress-related fatigue are. It's a long list and it really makes you think. The sooner we take action to minimise stress, the less likey we will be to develop fatigue and get locked into a dangerous cycle. The 24 strategies I mention are based on the strategies I used to transform my life, I hope they can be of benefit to you too. https://lnkd.in/gTBMevHU

#55. Stress Hack! Stress is a real life killer. This is a practice I learned from Dr. Andrew Huberman, that is helping me get the stress out off of my back (literally, specifically my middle/lower back). This is something you can do in REAL TIME, to lower your cortisol levels in as little as 30 seconds. "The best way that I am aware to do that is called the physiological sigh. A physiological sigh is a pattern of breathing that involves two inhales followed by an extended exhale." - Dr. Andrew Huberman ***3 Min Video Link in the comments*** #HealthySalesHabits #PeakPerformance #WorkplaceWellness

It’s built in years of ignoring your own needs, even chasing impossible standards and the constant pushing your body until it: ✨Whispers THEN SCREAMS ✨STOP I’m a great believer that chronic fatigue/ME doesn’t just strike out of nowhere- it’s a slow build, rooted in your past with habits and mndsets that push your body past it’s limits. ❌ It isn’t about being lazy - it’s about your body saying “Enough”. BUT it is about: ✨Dropping perfectionism AND ✨Stopping Pushing through your life Here’s the biggie: Most of my clients ignore every warning sign in the book, even when your body is begging for rest.
