What if we could just slap a smartwatch on a physically simulated hand/arm and it would make the watch think we are having an atrial fibrillation event? I thought it would be fun to share something we are working on behind the scenes! We are not a hardware company but were looking for a way to avoid having to reverse-engineer a bunch of PPG sensor-based devices, like smartwatches, in order to test our software on them. Well, we jammed a few things together and it just sort of worked 😁 Here is a 3x sped-up video where we make my AmazFit smartwatch read the values we want during a workout recording. The bpm values go: 100 -> 80 -> 110 -> 130 -> 160
