Lando’s starts have been questioned!? How important is the start in F1. 5 Red lights. They all go out. The next 0.2 - 0.3 secs could make or break your race. Hand, foot, brain. In 2021 Max and Lewis both averaged around 0.2 secs. So did Kevin Magnusson 🤷♂️. Everyone else was high 0.2s. The 2 title challengers in the top 3 of reaction time tells you how important it is. The average person is around 0.5-0.7s. F1 drivers are consistently 0.2-0.3s. Senna used to average 0.17s Schumacher used to average 0.16s The record is Bottas at Suzuka at 0.04s…..but we know why that was haha! Test it. •Movement detection test •Time movement anticipation •Risk selection •Blazepods Train it. #f1 #f1driver #f1trainer #italiangp #f1physio #onlinephysio #reactiontime

Systems Thinker, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Area Operations Lead for the Surrey Triangle at Solus Accident Repair Centres
Love this! No matter how good we think we are at anything at work or at home there is always room for improvement. The improvements may become smaller and harder to achieve and for this reason for me they become even more rewarding! As it says in the original post cycle times in the motor accident repair industry can benefit immensely from a continuous improvement approach. In the past few years I have developed a process that has helped my Teams shave 5 days off key to key times for our customers taking us to exceptional levels for our industry. Reduced key to key also reduces overall costs so it's a win win situation. This does not happen on its own and does not happen with senior leaders sitting in an ivory tower. It happens when experts come together to study the current process and then push the boundaries of what is possible in testing and designing something new. This video shows how over time the pit stop process has developed and evolved with different steps either added or removed to get to the new optimum of today. People would have laughed 20 years ago had someone said sub 2 seconds was possible for a pit stop. Is sub 1.5 seconds possible? I would bet it is! 😊 What is possible with Key to Key in our industry? What do people think good looks like across all types of demand and not just cosmetic work? It would be interesting if anyone has the time to share their thoughts. Have a great weekend! 😊 #Kaizen #Operatingprocess
