Jumping on the #NECANN Boston Party Scene train, but with a personal twist that those who know me well... already know. What parties and #networking events going down during NECANN weekend that are neurodivergent friendly? Like many of the patients and consumers we market our products to in the #cannabisindustry , my trifecta of neurological/nervous system disorders make typical, super fun experiences risky and painful. Example: my photophobia is in the top 2% of severity. The clinical term is an umbrella for light sensitivity- but mine causes actual pain. It stems from both my lifelong battle with chronic migraine and adult-onset temporal lobe epilepsy. Translation: Parties with EDM style lighting are not my thing. Add in loud, high pitched noises you will find me under the covers with my blackout curtains drawn for 3 days (and on "seizure watch"). So... who's got the fun events that your favorite neurodivergent marketing friend can attend this year? 🎉
