The biggest problem is seniors want their way to matter instead of allowing a staff member to have a input because they feel it undermines them. Most of them won’t get the opportunities they expect because those scoring 99.99 will overshadow them. CRUSH them... Frankly, he made the right move by leaving. Otherwise, he would have been pushed down by those with higher scores. And let's be honest—many of those who enter through category quotas often end up wasting years of their lives. They struggle to find their footing, eventually leaving campuses to take on odd jobs or start businesses that rarely take off. The truth is, India simply doesn’t have enough jobs. Furthermore, the IIM culture isn’t tailored to Indian business realities. The MBA programs are more aligned with the American capitalist mindset, which doesn’t necessarily translate to success in the Indian market. These institutions often serve as cultural extensions of American corporations, pushing values and philosophies that don’t resonate here. Honestly, it was a blessing in disguise that your friend got out when he did.
