Concept to Completion #3 – Lights, camera, action at Butlin's. Next up on our journey from concept to completion is Butlin’s showstopping workplace in Hemel Hempstead. They needed a space that captured the spirit of adventure, with a design concept inspired by their "Home of Entertainment" theme that exudes colour and playfulness. “A brand full of energy, vibrancy and colour. The brief was to bring the feeling, the essence of Butlin’s, into their new office. With creative solutions integrating branding, lighting and finishes, we successfully accomplished the brief and created an exciting, fun and energised new home for the Butlin’s team that feels just as alive as their UK holiday destinations.” - Claire Watson-Gold, Lead Designer. #Chai_chat 10 Design approaches are aplenty! But when you design the one space in office that focuses more on the visitor than the user themselves, how would you go about it?! Would it be to awe the visitor? Would it focus on displaying the brand's identity? Would it be aimed at the best possible experience as a whole? Or, is it all the above and more?! Let us know!! We would love to have an interaction #Chai_chat 10 This here is our proposal for a Lobby refurbishment of a corporate entity! #DDW #dotsndashworkshop #interiordesign #corporateinteriors

Ever wondered what happens when office designs go out of style and then make a comeback? 𝗪𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂!😉 And don’t worry—you won’t be judged for rocking pink walls a decade after the Barbie movie craze. When designs resurface, their impact can vary. Often, these revivals come with a modern twist, incorporating new materials, technologies, or functionalities that make them feel fresh and relevant. A nostalgic design can offer a new perspective, blending the old with the new to create something innovative. However, the success of these designs depends on how well they adapt to today’s needs and expectations. While retro elements can evoke comfort and familiarity, they must still meet contemporary standards to truly shine in today’s work environment. ••• #PattrnWorkspace #OfficeDesign #OfficeFurniture #FurnitureDesign #InteriorDesign #CommercialOffice #ModernDesign #DesignTrends #TrendingNow

Design That Transforms: Beyond Aesthetics 🌟 Interior design is not just about making a space look beautiful – it’s about crafting an environment that improves the way people live, work, and feel. The right design can enhance productivity, boost creativity, and even improve overall well-being. Take, for instance, a recent project I completed for a small tech startup. The office was cramped, and the team felt disconnected. By rethinking the layout, using multi-functional furniture, and optimizing natural light, I transformed their space. The result? A 30% increase in employee satisfaction, more collaboration among team members, and a boost in overall efficiency. Why it worked: Open, collaborative areas encouraged communication. Natural light and soft hues reduced stress and eye strain. Efficient storage solutions decluttered the workspace, making room for creativity. Design has the power to change not only how a space looks but how it works for the people who use it. When done right, it’s not just decoration – it’s transformation. 🔍 Ready to create a space that enhances your life or business? Let’s talk about how we can make that happen. #InteriorDesign #CaseStudy #WorkplaceDesign #DesignThatMatters #ProductiveSpaces #CreativeEnvironments

The Art of Branding Through Space: Plym's Philosophy on Interior Architecture 💡 In the complex world of brands, what truly sets a company apart isn’t just its products or services, but the core values and culture that permeate every aspect of its business. At Plym, we understand that each ingredient presented in this diagram is crucial. While the physical space is a significant slice of the branding pie, it cannot stand alone. Merely imposing our vision would yield a space reflecting us, not your brand. By deeply analyzing your brand, we ensure the resulting environment authentically represents who you are. With that being said: ‘We do your thing not ours.’ As interior architects, we draw inspiration from the entire circle of brand elements. The right ambiance is more than just encouraging; it’s transformative, allowing a brand to flourish, sparking creativity among employees and cultivating familiarity with customers. A brand is a living space where stories are shared, a conference room where ideas ignite, and a window display that invites the world to look inside. It’s not just a matter of aesthetic appeal, but the emotional and experiential connections that these spaces foster. Our mission extends to sculpting spaces that embody a brand’s ethos, crafting an ambiance where trust is built and relationships are forged. We design with a vision where every element reflects the brand’s journey and its aspirations. As this aspect of our work is of great importance, we like to collaborate with graphic design agencies that stand by the same values. Studios and designers like Shirāz and Dāryān, OddKommunikation AB, and Sara Scott. Thank you for a good cooperation so far. #BrandStory #DesignThinking #StrategicDesign #plym

Designers thrive on creativity and innovation, and like everyone else, we're influenced by emerging cultural trends. These trends shape how we organise spaces, select materials, and add those finishing touches. Pop culture, especially movies, TV shows, and music icons, plays a huge role in forming these cultural trends. By way of a bit of fun, how many of the current trends and influences in commercial interior designs listed below could you arguably align with influences from the ever-popular Bridgerton TV series? 🛋️ Resimmercial Furnishings 🌈 Warmer Color Schemes 🌿 Natural Elements & Geometric Shapes 📱 Seamless Technology Integration 🖼 Mixed Materials & Finishes ♻️ Sustainable Design 🏠 Homey Accessories 🔇 Sound Softening 🌳 Outdoor Spaces 🌞 Natural Lighting Comment below with your thoughts! Can you see Lady Whistledown's influence in modern office spaces? Let’s see who’s got the best eye for design trends! 😜 emuid.co.uk #InteriorDesign #CommercialDesign #PopCultureInfluence #Bridgerton #DesignTrends #Resimmercial #SustainableDesign #Creativity #Innovation #DesignInspiration [Image: Netflix]
