Where companies go to get noticed | Co-Founder and Managing Director at noticed. |

2.5 years ago when I started my agency, everyone was saying: ”It’s an overcrowded space” ”There is a sea of marketing agencies” ”People don’t need another marketing agency”. And for a second, I believed them. (Honestly for more than a second 😂) But we knew we could add real value, so, against all advice, we dove in and gave it a shot. I was still worried about the fact that: We weren’t like traditional agencies. We were just two young lads getting started. We didn’t have a “network” or daddy to open doors. And there was a huge chance we’d never sign a single client. But we got our heads down, and got to work. Today nearly 3 years later we: ˃ Work with brands like the NHS. ˃ We have a growing full time team of 13. And we’ve told stories for some of the biggest companies worldwide. It’s been hard work, long hours, late nights and weekends. And I can’t lie… I’ve had a bloody good time doing it 😂 But today isn’t about who I work with or whether I enjoy my life. (Who gives a sh*t right? 🤷♂️) Today is to simply say this: You can break into any industry if you’re willing to think outside of the box. ˃ If you work hard. ˃ If you’re willing to learn. And if you push towards adding real value every day. So don’t be disheartened, and don’t let people put you off starting. Because the real question is this: So, is the marketing industry overcrowded? Or is there just a lack of agencies that are willing to put in the time and the work required to do great things for their clients? 🧐

It sure must be a great feeling knowing that you do what you want to do! Most people are scared to try, therefor they give such answers as you got. Keep on rocking! It is your life to live, not to follow any standards that are not meant for you!

The marketing world (or any industry, really) isn't about the number of players – it's about who brings the most value. If you can demonstrate that value through hard work, creativity, and a genuine desire to help your clients succeed, then there's always room at the table.

Love this, lads. IMO, the number of agencies around is a slight red herring anyway...if you're willing to put the hard yards in, you'll knock half of them out round one.
