Time is our most valuable resource. Sure... but do we believe that? The most common question people about where I currently live... "Isn't it expensive to live in Hawaii?" They are usually asking about financial costs. Yes, housing and food are more expensive... but I gladly pay that for more of what matters. If TIME is our most valuable resource, living in Hawaii isn't expensive. It's a bargain. - 10+ minutes is considered a long car ride - Outdoor activities (from ocean to mountain) are available year-round - The time difference makes for peaceful, distraction-free evenings - People don't seem to sweat the small stuff... like shoes or 'fashion' - The culture is more low-key... relaxed, family-friendly - Walkability abounds Overall, less time is spent "in transition". These benefits (and more) compound. People seem less strung out. Less rushed. It's more common to linger and chat. You bump into more people around town. The vibe is all-around more chill. For birthday parties, parents order pizzas at the beach. For school assemblies, parents bring their lawn chairs to an open field. For hosting, you eat outside and hose things off when kids make a mess. The result is more moments that matter. Less busy and more being present. Time is valuable. Let's act like it.

It's wonderful to hear about the relaxed pace of life in Hawaii. The emphasis on spending quality time and being present in the moment is truly inspiring.

Morgan, absolutely love this perspective! Hawaii's lifestyle truly emphasizes quality of life and meaningful moments over material costs. Time well spent with family and friends in such a beautiful, laid-back environment is priceless
