LGBTQ+ inclusion = Profitability Or at least that’s what new research by Davos suggests. They found that the Top 25 companies for LGBTQ+ transparency were 2.3 times more profitable than the bottom 25. We've got a long way to go for DE&I-related issues. But it’s great to see businesses reap the rewards for attracting and retaining a diverse workforce. #diversity #queer

As we celebrate Pride Month, I thought it timely to resurface some important findings from a survey conducted by the Morgan Stanley Institute for Sustainable Investing. Nearly half of all U.S. individual investors say they’re interested in LGBTQ+ investment options, and that interest is even higher among younger investors. But investors say there just aren’t enough investment options out there. For asset managers, could exploring these investment options help improve equity and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community while also meeting growing investor demand? As a proud lesbian and poly person, I understand the profound impact that being seen and acknowledged can have on an individual. It's about more than just being present; it's about creating a space where we can all feel safe, supported, and free to express our true selves without fear. While we celebrate Pride, we must also confront the rise in hate crimes in Norway (as well as the rest of the world), a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle for true equality. Let's stand united against such hate and advocate for a society where love and acceptance prevail. Visibility matters. It paves the way for understanding, acceptance, and change. This Pride, let's commit to fostering an environment where every voice is heard, every identity is respected, and every person can thrive. Proud to share my learnings on effective CSR communication at the Sustainability Leadership Training Program. When it comes to owning a topic like equality and inclusion, clear, authentic messaging is key. The rainbow movement has gained significant momentum in recent years - an important societal shift that forward-thinking SMEs should thoughtfully consider how to authentically embrace.
