There were three times I wept while building Xylo.AI.
#1 Admitting to my wife the pressure I was under to rush ahead for "garbage traction" in the face of what we knew to be right: Spending the appropriate time in development to meet the high standards of business customers for GenAI.
Taking the long route in today's macro-economic environment was never going to be easy, but I can't tell you how proud I am of the team at Xylo for continuing to do the right thing for our customers, day in and day out.
#2 When Roger Lam told me he was joining Xylo full-time, and I called David Barta to share the good news, I cried because I knew Roger was the third co-founder we were sorely missing to be able to deliver our vision to the world.
#3 The third was when my 9 year old son (Levi) drew the picture below to help me explain Xylo to folks and handed it to me while I was working late in the garage, as always.
I couldn't help it, I broke down like a baby.
Maybe that makes me a wimp, but I really don't care.
Looking back, the people who leaned in are the ones who made the vision possible, and the journey special. I'm grateful to each and every one of you.
Together, we're proud to finally be sharing Xylo with the world.
Coming soon to a work-computer near you 🙂

P.S. If you're wondering, the last panel reads: "Message changes so other person understands." Great work, Levi, you nailed it!
