As part of Emerson's #ChooseSustainability campaign, I'm excited to share my sustainability resolution for this year. I believe by doing our individual part (what we can control) and raising awareness, we will continue to gather momentum and move our future in the right direction. This year, I'm committing to "Green My Diet”. My resolutions are to: • Reduce food waste by planning meals better and composting organic waste. • Commit to consume more plant-based meals, eliminate meat consumption, and support local and sustainable food sources. It's a small change that can make a big difference for our planet. But I don't want to do this alone! I challenge Brendan McLaughlin and Robert Kelliher to set your own sustainability resolutions for the year ahead. Whether it's reducing energy consumption, supporting local and sustainable products, or starting a composting routine, every effort counts. Let's turn our resolutions into actions, and together, we can create a more sustainable future for Emerson and the world. #ChooseSustainability #Letsgo #Emerson #plantbased

🌍Today is World Green Consumer Day! On September 28th, the world is reminded of how important it is to integrate recycling, reusing, waste reduction and the appreciation of our food into our daily lives. Companies and individuals celebrate this day in various ways, whether by avoiding plastic bags, using electric vehicles, or planting trees. 🌳 The term "green" is more present than ever in many areas, as topics like climate change and sustainability must continue to be a strong focus. Additionally, the transformation of our food systems is becoming increasingly important. The transformation of our food systems is so important because today's food systems often attack natural habitats, pollute the planet, aggravated rural poverty and are often the cause of poorer health in society. Green consumption, closely linked to sustainable development, aims to promote environmentally friendly behavior in the consumption habits of businesses and individuals. This includes renewable energy, mindful purchasing decisions, organic products, and reducing food waste. 🔭 What is Europe-LAND´s contribution to Green Consumer Day? At Europe-LAND, we are researching how land use and management, and consequently our food systems, can be sustainably shaped for the future. 💚Use today to take small, sustainable steps in your daily life—whether while shopping or in other areas. Every contribution counts! #EuropeLAND #GreenConsumerDay #Sustainability #ClimateChange #EcoFriendly #GreenConsumption #Foodsystems
