As a leading global player in sustainable construction and building materials, Saint-Gobain recently held its Shareholders' Meeting and Board of Directors' Meeting on June 6, 2024. These meetings announced significant changes in the company's governance structure, leadership, and sustainability focus. Enhanced Governance for Renewed Strength Saint-Gobain has implemented a new governance structure to ensure strong leadership and independent oversight. This includes the appointment of three new Independent Directors: Sophie Brochu, Hélène de Tissot, and Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux. Jean-François Cirelli was also reappointed as a director and named Lead Independent Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board. Getting the board to focus at the right level, at the strategic level, clarifies action by all stakeholders.

The board's key staff member is the CEO. The board works with and through the CEO to get stuff done and to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. At most board meetings the CEO should give an update on various aspects of the organization. The following questions would ensure that the board is better informed.

RPC has appointed Antony Sassi as its new Global Managing Partner. Sassi, who has been the Asia Managing Partner since 2019, will succeed James Miller starting May 1, 2025. He will relocate from Hong Kong to London for this role. Under Miller's leadership, RPC saw significant growth, with the partnership expanding from 79 to 136 members and revenue increasing by 74%.
