We need to get better at recognising this, we need assessment tools that clearly allow for the gender differences and we just need to get so much better as supporting everyone and recognising everyone’s strengths and challenges individually not just making assumptions.

In this episode, I explore the distinct traits of autistic women, highlighting our hidden challenges, such as masking and intense sensory sensitivity. I encourage everyone to update their sensitivity quizzes to reflect what we now know are autistic traits. I also emphasize the importance of self-compassion and societal acceptance and provide recommended resources.
