Ensuring children are socially prepared for the transition to Primary school is crucial for their overall well-being and success in their new environment. That is why our programme has a weekly character building component to provide them with the right environment, outlet, experience and support to take this very big step into Primary school with confidence. #characterbuilding #mentalhealth #emotionalwellbeing #primaryschool #playbasedlearning #afterschoolprogramme

Exciting news! Mosaic will be introducing the Zippy Friends’ programme by Partnership For Children from United Kingdom, a non-profit organisation that focuses on designing evidence-based programmes to equip children with life skills, to both the preschools and students at play academy! The emotional wellbeing is a crucial aspect of a child’s development, and both educators and parents play a significant role in nurturing these lifelong learning skills in their children. While social-emotional learning is embedded within the school curriculum (both during ‘teachable’ moments and lessons), we seek to enhance our children’s social-emotional competences through embarking on the renewed Zippy Friends’ Programme in 2024. Topics such as feelings, communication, relationships, conflict resolution and more will be explored in detail to help children cope with everyday difficulties, to express their feelings appropriately and be equipped with a wide array of strategies to overcome problems. With this programme, coupled with love, patience and guidance from the educators, we hope to empower our children to navigate the complexities of emotions and relationships, setting them on a path towards a bright future!
