"Children aren't coloring books. You don't get to fill them in with your favorite colors." — Khaled Hosseini, *The Kite Runner* This quote resonates on so many levels, reminding us that life, much like literature, isn't always about fitting into the lines or living up to someone else's expectations. 🌱 In the world of writing, it's the nuanced, unfiltered moments that leave a lasting impact. As storytellers and readers, we understand that the best quotes often capture the essence of humanity's complexities and the layers of love, growth, and discovery. ✨ Take a moment to reflect on how literature mirrors life’s intricate beauty. Let’s celebrate the words that challenge us, provoke thought, and invite us to see the world through a broader lens. 📚 #LiteratureLovers #Storytelling #WisdomInWords #WritingCommunity

No One Wants You - Celine Roberts As a part of Woxsen University's "Book of the Month" initiative advanced by Raul Villamarin Rodriguez, I just finished reading “No One Wants You” by Celine Roberts, and it is astounding. In this raw and potent memoir, we are shown the academic side of things — rejection before resilience was reached followed by triumph. With raw honesty and powerful storytelling, Roberts shares her struggles and triumphs, painting a vivid picture of resilience and hope. Her candid account is both heart-wrenching and inspiring, making it a must-read for anyone seeking a story of perseverance and personal growth. More than a memoir, "No One Wants You" is an uplifting narrative of determination and the resilience of the human spirit. Celine Roberts reminds us that if we keep our hearts open, and listen to what they tell us without judgement or fear, not even life itself can stand in the way. I would recommend this book to everyone because there is nothing better than the heart and soul warming. The work on purpose keeps going well beyond choosing the words ... Day 10 from my article archive: Organisations have always had a purpose. You just might not like what it was or is. In the currently hyped environment around purpose, it doesn’t take much for it to transform into an ‘I’m better than you are’ playground conceit. But beware, as noted by Jim Collins and Jerry Porras in the seminal 1994 book Built to Last: “The critical issue is not whether the company has the ‘right’ core ideology or a ‘likeable’ core ideology but rather whether it has a core ideology — likeable or not — that gives guidance and inspiration to people inside that company.* (Author’s emphasis in bold.) Which brings me to my second concern. The idea that purpose is a kind of panacea; a magic statement to cure what ails you. And sure, it’s important. But there’s a much bigger story in how it’s used and for what. And without the rest of the story, purpose is the equivalent of pulp fiction. Something to generate a short-term buzz but forgotten the moment you finish the book." There's a link in comments to keep reading. #brand #purpose #ThirtyThirty #unheroicwork

"Vintage records, classic cars, and antique clocks might be valuable collectibles, but outdated facts are mental fossils that are best abandoned." Adam Grant- Rethinking Book really is a really amazing read! I found the book very valuable and enjoyable. It is about the ability of human to rethink at the personal, interpersonal and above level. It helps the audiences to think critically, dare to re-evaluate our own knowledges and gain fresh perspectives. It is truly a "must-read".
