SCAM ALERT !! I booked a flight via MakeMyTrip and on 31st March they casually sent me an email in the morning that my flight had delayed by 3 hours and to contact the airline to verify this with them .. I call the airline VietJet Air and explain to them that I need to get on an earlier flight as all my tours are booked and non refundable and depended on me reaching my destination at a particular time .. VietJet Air refuses to help modify my booking as the email and number associated with my booking is of a "vendor" Trip.com Group !! .. I have been begging MakeMyTrip since 31st March to either modify my flight and put me on an earlier flight or modify the email and number associated with my booking and change it to MY EMAIL AND MY NUMBER (something that should have been done from the start) so that I can call VietJet Air directly and modify my booking.. I have spoken to 6 call center agents by now each time describing my ordeal from the start .. and all they give me is the standard call center line " We shall give you an update within 24 hours" and 24 hours go by and no one bothers to call me or email me an update on my case.. I have never dragged down companies on #socialmedia before but this time round I feel utterly helpless and anxious as my flight date approaches .. This whole ordeal is such a lesson learnt please book your flights and hotels via the airlines and hotels websites directly instead of using 3rd party websites such as #makemytrip & #trip.com as if you face any issues these websites do not have any accountability and just leave you in the dead end of the sea ... I have been such a loyal customer to Make my trip over the years but this experience has traumatized me. I would like to share my disappointing experience with Kiwi.com and Cyprus Airways to raise awareness about their poor customer service and encourage others to exercise caution when dealing with these companies. On September 22, I booked a flight through Kiwi.com operated by Cyprus Airways. Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned sour due to multiple issues, including delays and the lack of any meaningful support when things went wrong. Despite following all procedures, I had to endure poor communication and unresponsive customer service from both Kiwi.com and Cyprus Airways. To make matters worse, after the flight issues, I was denied a refund. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter with Kiwi.com, more than a month later, I am still waiting for my money. My bank, unable to intervene further, recommended that I continue following up with Kiwi.com This situation has shown me how frustrating and unreliable customer service can be, even when dealing with what should be straightforward refund policies. I am now forced to explore legal avenues and submit a complaint to consumer protection authorities. I am sharing my story to warn others about the risks associated with these companies. Your time and money are valuable, and I encourage anyone considering Kiwi.com or Cyprus Airways to thoroughly research alternatives before booking.
