No one is qualified to do anything till they learn it whatever it is.
I just hope companies will give applicants a chance to sell themselves. Sometimes, they outright dismiss you.
But then when you do feel like you have mastered the skill get certified in it, because you need to show others that you are qualified and show those that look like you that they can too.
Everyone starts somewhere. Focus less on what you haven't done and more on what you have accomplished that will help you get to where you want to go in the present and future. It's not imposter syndrome; it's just that you haven't done something yet. Give yourself grace and time. It's OK!
Something like fighting for a post you didn't want the recruiter to let go?
Absolutely, that's a powerful perspective. Growth often comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone and tackling challenges that push you beyond your current capabilities.
Please share this with employers. If I could go into a role having at least half the qualifications, I would be so much further in my career. I believe in me, maybe more employers will in the future. I can't learn if I am not given a chance.
And AMEN to that! 🙌 🎩
