It's disheartening when customers try to take advantage of our profession, forgetting that we are people with responsibilities and commitments. Company car or Car allowance? Many of the sales roles we recruit require the sales professional to have a vehicle. From what I can see there is no benefit to the employer to offer a company car over a car allowance and the downside is your stuck with a car when they move on. Does anyone see any benefit to SMEs using company cars over the allowance?
