Today we announced #MotorolaSolutions’ new global R&D Centre in Cork, Ireland, expected to generate 200 highly skilled jobs. The team will design software for our comprehensive land mobile radio portfolio, with plans to expand across other technologies in the future. The mission-critical solutions developed at the centre will support thousands of public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide in solving complex safety and security challenges. Great news. Selling solutions rather then technology is a good move and one I expect we will see more of in our industry.
