I try to text 💬 all clients to wish them a Happy Birthday 🥳🎂🎈 It's a small gesture, but it is something. Maybe other advisors don't do this❓ If I hear back from the client, I will wish them an awesome day and ask about special plans. This past weekend, a client shared where they were going out to dinner 🍽️ Five Minutes later they had a digital gift card 🎁 to the restaurant directly delivered to their phone📱,with a note that dessert and drinks 🍰🍷 were on me This is the type of personal touch I enjoy and you aren't going to get from a 1-800 number 🌟 If this resonates with you🤗, maybe it's time to break up with your 800# and have a personal advisor. #personaldevelopment #creativity #investing #customerrelations #storytelling

Answer this week’s Legal Latte question from the LSAT Prep Test correctly and we’ll send you a $10 Starbucks Gift Card! Message us directly or reply to this email sent today! Question: Manager: I plan to put together a successful marketing team by choosing highly skilled, independent workers who prefer not to work as part of a tightly knit group. This strategy is bound to succeed because recent research shows that when a common purpose is shared, the flexibility of loosely bound groups enables them to function better than tightly knit ones. The reasoning in the manager's argument is most vulnerable to criticism on the grounds that the argument (A) presumes that factors that are collectively sufficient for success are also individually necessary for success (B) relies on research that has no apparent relevance to the manager's proposed plan (C) takes for granted that flexible teams always function significantly better than inflexible teams (D) overlooks the possibility that people who prefer not to work in tightly knit groups may have difficulty committing to a common purpose (E) confuses the goals that the manager is seeking to achieve with the goals that must be held in common by the members of the marketing team #PersonalInjuryAttorneys #InjuryLaw #LSATs #CarAccidentLawyer #Attorneys #WorkersComp #MassTort #MedMal #InjuryLawyers #LegalFunding #PlaintiffFunding #MedicalFunding

Struggling to find ways to increase profitability ? Remember. There are $21B in unused gift cards balance in US. Most of it will flow into company P&L's as revenue. Starbucks recorded $164M in profit from unused gift cards in 2020. They currently have $1B sitting in unused gift cards! I'll say that again unused. That's more profit than most fortune 500 companies ! Maybe your business needs a gift card strategy. ---------------------- Actionable strategies on #pricing, #discounts #revenuemanagement and #careers. Pray for your competitors. After you hire me, they’ll need it. (Currently planning what’s next. Prev. Co-founder @ Case Study Buddy (acquired), copywriter/consultant @ Business Casual.)
Know why most companies suck at getting customers to say “yes” to being featured? Because they’d rather bribe their customers than build a relationship with them. (I feel confident saying this having seen how 300++ companies operate when it comes to customer proof.) Bribery is easy! You just shower them with cheap incentives for taking part in customer stories, like gift cards, discounts, or swag. If they like the bribe, they might do what you ask. Relationships? That’s hard — stuff like communicating regularly, investing in their success with your offering, including them and giving them a voice, elevating them personally and as an org… Because they feel connected and seen, they feel good about doing something that ultimately benefits you both. Don’t get me wrong, incentives like gift cards have their place. There’s nothing wrong with thanking a customer that way. The problem arises when that is the only lever you can pull because you have a culture of completely ignoring the customer or leaving them isolated on “existing user island” where you never engage them until you want something from them. Ask yourself: are we bribing? Or building relationships?

My daughter needed a knee brace. We went to Dicks Sporting Goods and picked out a brace. We paid for it at the cashier. We then walked out the store. The buzzer went off. We looked back at the cashier and she waved us off. We got in the car to head to another store. Thankfully my daughter took the brace out of the box and saw the security tag attached. Ugh. After our next stop we drove back to Dicks. We walked in with the buzzers going off. We explained what happened and this cashier took out a gift card. He gave us 20.00 on the card for our wasted time and experience. Wow. We didn't even ask. This is my goal. That our clients say "wow". That when someone hears me speak they say "wow". That when someone reads my books or uses one of my journals they say "wow". What can you do to give an amazing customer experience? Or where have you said "wow"? #wowexperience #customerservice #wealthadvisor #speaker
