We carry stress in our body when it goes unprocessed. The unseen/stress impacts the seen/body, and if unattended to will eventually lead to ailments, illness, disease. Our allostatic load, aka stress chemistry, increases each time we go into fight/flight/freeze (sympathetic NS), but we don’t or can’t finish the cycle into rest/digest/restore (parasympathetic NS) allowing the stress to process + release. Therefore it gets stuck and trapped in our bodies. We must MOVE our body to release this stuck stress. Releasing tension while creating space for new energy to flow through. Yoga is an amazing practice for this as we move our physical body through the poses while also moving our energetic body through the breath. Connecting body + breath movement is key to releasing tension physically & energetically. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Join me TODAY Tuesday 1/30 at 5:30pm et for an online **YOGA FLOW & RESTORE** class! 🌿stretching + movement to release & open 🌿conscious breathing to balance & calm 🌿meditating in savasana to relax & restore Open-level class for beginners and seasoned yogis - you will need a yoga/workout mat in a quiet space, blocks + blanket optional. **Sign up at link below** or message me for details. https://lnkd.in/eSp5y3pV May your body move & energy flow with ease. 💛 #wellness #stressmanagement #stressrelief #yoga #breathwork #meditation #breathe #onlineclasses #selfcare #relax

After yoga snacks at Roschier, Attorneys Ltd. For our third 60 minute session I dedicated 25 minutes to box breathing and resting (Shavasana). Anyone can learn and apply this technique, why I like teaching it. “Box breathing is a powerful but simple relaxation technique that aims to return breathing to its normal rhythm after a stressful experience. It involves breathing in and out and holding the breath. It may help clear the mind, relax the body, and improve focus.” I’ve added an article about Box breathing below + a link to my video for MåBra Magazine (Swedish). #employeewellbeing #wellness

Deep breathing is a technique where you take slow, deep breaths in a deliberate manner. It can be practiced during yoga or meditation sessions. Here's how to do it: - Sit comfortably on a chair or lie down on a bed. - Close your eyes and take slow, deep breaths. - Try to inhale as deeply as possible during the inhalation phase. - Then, exhale slowly and gently release your breath. - Repeat this process several times and feel the sense of relaxation spreading throughout your body.

Holistic Leadership | Conscious Culture | Organizational Well-being coach & consultant. I help leaders reduce burnout, conflict, and foster a culture of calm and intentionality within their organization.
Have you ever considered that the tension you feel could teach you to relax? That the tension could be useful before you take the Advil or yoga the sensations away? It’s hard to be a relaxed human or effective leader in difficult times when you haven't really thought of a tense body as optional. It’s often because no one has asked us to observe the subtle things and ask, 'do I have any say-so over my jaw, back or headache pain? The answer is yes. Embodying these principles will keep you consistent with your practice, and you’ll carry these lessons into your everyday life. This workshop will teach you about your curve pattern and considerations to take care of your back. The practices will focus on elongation, breath, finding space, and body awareness. You will leave this workshop with an understanding of which poses benefit your scoliosis, and which do not. #scoliosis #yogaforscoliosis #spinalfusion #spinecare
