Have you been struck by the latest stomach bug? 🤮 💩 🚽 It’s going around! 🦠 Here are 3 ways you can practice wellness in the midst of illness: Hydrate 💦 Broths (you can pick your preference of chicken, vegetable, beef or bone) and coconut water are great ways to drink fluid and maintain your electrolytes. I tend to favor these over some of the other electrolyte drinks such as Propel or Gatorade (Personally, they give me heartburn). Warm broth tends to be soothing to the stomach. I like to keep a couple of cartons of broth in the pantry just in case. Rest 🛌 Your body needs rest to replenish and recover. Listen to your body and rest when it needs it. Go to bed earlier and take naps. STAY HOME 🏠 🔑 You don’t need to spread germs at your workplace or school. Take time off and take care of you. Work will always be there, but you can’t pour from an empty cup. You will heal better and quicker when you take the time to take care of yourself. How do you nurture wellness during sickness?
